CRAIG CHESTER as Thomas

A pioneering actor in the independent film world, Chester scored a 1993 Independent Spirit Award nomination for his role in the drama Swoon, and later appeared in queer indie landmark films like Grief, I Shot Andy Warhol, Frisk, and Kiss Me Guido.  As a writer, Chester wrote the feature film Save Me (story) and the screenplay for his feature directorial debut, Adam and Steve (2005). Chester has written for the Big Gay Sketch Show on Logo, and his memoir, “Why The Long Face: The Adventures of a Truly Independent Actor” was published by St. Martin’s Press.

PAULA MALCOMSON as Ruth

Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Malcomson debuted in American feature films in 1993, as Allie Earp in Tombstone. Since then, she has worked extensively in film and television, including: as Marjorie Dettrick in The Green Mile, directed by Frank Darabont; in several films by Michael Almereyda, notably as Marcella in Hamlet; and in Steven Spielberg’s Artificial Intelligence: A.I. with Jude Law. Ms. Malcomson has been a guest star on Six Feet Under, Lost, CSI, Law & Order: SVU,  and Cold Case, among others.  She played series regulars, Jerri on John From Cincinnati and Meg Riley on ER. Malcomson co-starred as Trixie on HBO’s, Deadwood (SAG nomination) and will star as Amanda Graystone in the upcoming Battlestar prequel, Caprica for the Sci-Fi Channel.
